A Cloudflare Error 1010 occurs when Cloudflare’s Browser Integrity Check flags your web browser’s user-agent or request headers as suspicious, outdated, or resembling an automated scraping bot.
Common causes
A website owner has enabled Cloudflare’s Browser Integrity Check (BIC), and the security scanner determined that your browser’s user-agent string or HTTP headers resemble an automated scraper, exploit tool, or malicious bot.
Resolution
If you are a visitor
- Update your web browser to the latest version.
- Disable browser extensions (like user-agent switchers or automated scraping extensions) that alter your browser’s request headers.
- Contact the site owner with your Ray ID if you believe your legitimate browser was falsely flagged.
If you are the website owner
- If legitimate customers report Error 1010, navigate to Security > Settings in Cloudflare and consider disabling Browser Integrity Check, or configure a WAF exception rule for the affected user-agent.
