ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND

P Add comments

Error codes are messages that are enumerated and correspond to errors in a particular software application. Error codes are used in computer programming.

Basically the function of the errors codes is to identify any faulty software, hardware or inappropriate user input which is included in languages used for programming that do not have exception handling. The error code 3 is one for those errors. ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND occurs when the device’s driver is corrupted or one’s system’s memory is running low. The error can occur when the system is running low on other resources as well.

If the error code 3 is caused by insufficient memory, it is recommended that the user close some applications they are not making use of to counter this problem and to avail memory. The system user should also check other system resources of the system as well as the settings used for virtual memory. Another solution one can employ if the problem arises from the system’s memory is to install more Random Access Memory (RAM) into their system. Incase the problem resulted from a corrupted driver, it is recommended that the user uninstall the driver from the manager of the device then scan for fresh hardware that they can use for installing the driver again. The user may be prompted to create the path to be used by the driver.

Some users encounter the error code 3 as they update pages just after they have made changes to templates. Other users encounter the error as well while creating a fresh file using a template. Using a network folder that is shared with a path for UNC as one’s site definition folder for local root is the cause of this problem. If one wants to get rid of error code 3 caused by this reason they could use their local hard drive as their folder for local root. If until recently one’s template was in good condition and it suddenly came up with errors, they should undo any changes they made to the template to stop the errors. Alternatively, one can close the dream weaver then check to see if the errors occur when no other files are open in the dream weaver. One should verify if their all of their template files are contained in the templates folder which the root folder contains on their site. Recreating the cache of the site may also help to deal with the error problem.
