ERROR_INVALID_FUNCTION

I Add comments

Error code 1 usually appears when there are many pointers to the fact that a device is not adequately recognized by the system to perform its operations optimally. This calls for a solution to this status so as to avert any problems with the problem.

However, one needs to locate the specific device causing the error so they can fix their attention to that particular hardware application. Configuration problems which are responsible for ERROR_INVALID_FUNCTION do not necessarily arise from technical failures.

The journey to fixing error code 1 begins by searching for the location of the particular error. This involves a comprehensive corrective process that one can follow using a clearly defined procedure. It starts by clicking on the Control Panel icon in My Computer interface. This is followed by selecting the device manager from among the several options. When this opens one should continue by checking the status of each device. This is done by selecting the device status icon which should reveal the presence or absence or presence of this error. This can be a long process as one may have to check out each device on the system if they are to get to the root of this problem. When they locate the error this way they can resolve the problem by following a set of instructions set out in the Device Status option.

In the event that error code 1 remains unresolved in spite of the above procedure one will have to consider another alternative. This is also available in the Control Panel icon. Here one must choose the Remove Hardware option and select the device in question. This should subsequently be removed to eliminate the error code. Once this task is accomplished, one must find a way of reinstalling the device on a fresh note. This is best done using the Add New Hardware icon also located in the Control Panel. Alternatively one can choose to use the install hard ware wizard if this proves more effective on the system. The main reason for the re-installation is to allow the computer to register and reconfigure the component. This should be enough to get rid of this error code.

When dealing with error code 1, open should watch out for the possibility of confusing numbers. The best way to guard against this is by watching out for the code number. If this mistaken for another numeral then a wrong procedure could be applied thus complicating matters even further.
